Project planning
Conduct a thorough assessment of existing inverts for the Woolworths sewer job by inspecting condition, verifying levels and alignment.
Deep excavation
The project utilized de-watering systems, benched excavation, flagging signage, windrows and established exclusion zones to ensure safe and efficient site operations.
Problem solving
Project involved adapting to unexpected groundwater inflows and existing utility conflicts by modifying excavation methods and coordinating closely with stakeholders to maintain progress and safety.
Sustainable practices
Implementing erosion control measures to protect the surrounding environment.
Challenges
Under Ground Services
Enforcing exclusion zones, Pothole, located and marked by locaters. safety protocols in place.
Limited Access
Using compact machinery and carefully planning site logistics to maximize available space.
Ground Water
Encountered rising water table so we implemented de-watering system to illuminate the problem.
Unexpected Utility Delays
Develop contingency plans to accommodate changes without impacting the project timeline.
